Why not engage consumers on Facebook with your cereal as they are buying it at the grocery store? If people are purchasing your product in-store, it is a very easy step to “like” it in the digital world as well. This type of technology brings us closer to bridging the gap in-store and online every day, and given the recent study from NRF and BIGResearch, more than a fourth of smartphone users will use their mobile phones as a tool for holiday shopping this year.
