Little Logo, Big Impact

Recently, Hillary Clinton announced that she will be running for office in 2016. But, it appears that her 2016 campaign logo is getting all the attention. Receiving a less than warm reception, the logo has ignited an online debate that goes to show the power of design.

Design is essential no matter what business you are in and we often forget that shoppers are not only using design and logos to help them make buying decision about products, but services as well. Political campaigns do just that—market themselves to sell a service/candidate to the people. With Obama in 2008, the people bought change with his slogan “Yes We Can.” We’ve seen that design and logos can make or break a brand—case in point, Tropicana—and it will be interesting to see if Hillary and her campaign leads see this buzz as positive or enough to change.
