3D printing received a big endorsement this month by online retailer Amazon. Amazon opened a dedicated 3D printer page and is currently selling 3D printers, books, and supplies. However, I’m left wondering how long it will be until this online retailer is offering digital downloads of products that you will be able to print at home with your very own 3D printer. If you thought Amazon Prime got your order to you fast, just wait until your purchase starts to take shape before your eyes, moments after hitting the Buy Now button.
