BISSEL Life Happens
Though BISSELL has a 140-year history in the U.S., the brand is a newcomer internationally. Many consumers are unaware of the “wet cleaning” category, using older methods like vacuums and mops to clean their homes. We were challenged to create an idea that could work in key international markets, across diverse audiences and cultures.
Life Happens, our 360° campaign for BISSELL, was rooted in consumer mindsets of the cleaning category. We led the process from strategy to implementation, defining the winning channel mix and integrated customer experience. In all, we created 172 original assets focused on increasing awareness of BISSELL and the CrossWave Surface Cleaner, one of their top products. Advertising stretched across TV, radio, out of home, social and digital.
What happens when Life Happens? The campaign exceeded almost all media KPI for the display ads, drove an average of +90% new visitors to the local campaign landing pages, and exceeded sales expectations. Also, the CrossWave Surface Cleaner sold out across markets. Talk about a clean-up.
